2011 MOT changes confirmed by VOSA

VOSA have provided a further confirmation that changes will made to the current MOT to further bring it in line with the EU.

“In the last few issues we have told you about changes to the MOT test resulting from Directive 2009/40/EC, which is being updated through Directive 2010/48/EU. Well, things have moved on leaps and bounds over the last few months and we have now agreed and developed all the changes that need to be made prior to introducing them in 2012.Of course, there is a lot more hard work ahead of us – not only to reprogram MOT Comp but also to communicate the necessary changes.
